Dr. Dan Vander Weit has been freeing people from pain in the clinic in Round Lake Beach, IL. As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Vander Weit is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of  patients.

Dr. Vander Weit uses a "whole person" approach. This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Dr Vander Weit is a 2000 Graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.  The first and most recognized Chiropractic school in the world. He became interested in Chiropractic while in high school when dealing with back issues and problems with his feet.  He went to the local chiropractor, which not only got rid of this back pain, but straighten out his feet with the use of adjustments and orthotics.  While under Chiropractic care the issues that he was having with his sinus cleared up.  He use to have chronic sinus issues, and after chiropractic care, and the continuation of a prevention treatment his sinus problems were gone.  He had also wanted to become a doctor, but did not want to do surgery or give out medication, due to the fact that it was not a natural process.  Through his own back problems he found a natural approach to health through chiropractic care, and his career path took off from there.

Dr. Vander Weit did his undergraduate studies at University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.  He majored in Kinesiology, with an emphasis on exercise physiology.  After four years of undergraduate studies and another four years of chiropractic school, he graduated and opened up his own chiropractic office in Round Lake Beach.  During his time in private practice he finished an advanced course with Dr Arthur Croft that is specific to car collision injuries and was certified from the Spine Institute of San Diego. He has also taken several seminars on extremity adjusting so  he can better assist people with arm and leg issues.  In November of 2008 he was certified in the Webster technique which assists in turning a pregnant mother’s baby so that the child is positioned properly so they have a less likelyhood of being born breach.  He sees a variety of patients with different health issues from auto injuries and acute injury care, to general health and wellness care.

Dr. Vander Weit is married to his lovely wife Whitney.  May 13, 2009 they had their first child.  Charlie Ray Vander Weit was born at home without the use of drugs, or any intervention.  Their Second son Quinn was born December 17, 2010.  Again Quinn was born at home. Dr. Vander Weit and his wife Whitney love the outdoors, especially boating, and golf (well only Dr. Vander Weit), and spending time with family and friends. In the winter time they tend to spend time in Lake Geneva with friends and get out to snow ski, as much as possible.
